Welcome to the Child Brain Injury Trusts new Youth Zone. This is a resource for young people with acquired brain injury. In this Zone you will find useful contacts, downloadable resources, and information to help you understand your brain injury.
Over the coming months we will be looking for your feedback about the Zone, and what features you would like to see in this Zone.
This is YOUR Zone, and will be designed to meet YOUR needs, but we can only do this with your help.
So here’s how you can help:
Contact your local Child and Family Support Officer if you live in one of these areas:
If you live anywhere else in the UK, you can help by contacting our National Helpline on 0845 601 49 39 or email your suggestions to youthzone@cbituk.org putting ‘Youth Zone Feedback’ as the subject or use our online contact form.
Meet your local support staff and find links to other great resources on the internet. Feel free to contact us with any of your queries or suggestions for the site.
Life is one long learning curve. Here’s a helping hand. Take a look at our learning zone for really useful information on ABI.
View, download or print these handy to know fact sheets. We're like busy little bees gathering information (rather than honey).
Looking for advice? Ask an expert and get the facts straight! Get advice from surgeons, doctors, support staff and people in the know. The answers are only a email away.
It’s not all work work work, have some fun in our Fun Zone. Send us your jokes and pictures, we'll put the best on this site for everyone to enjoy.
Hot TopicsView, download or print the hot topics you have told us about. If you would like to add your own topic, please let us know.
What’s missing? Is there a Zone you would like to see here? Then email us at youthzone@cbituk.org with as much detail as possible and we’ll see what we can do.
